Wraith of Raven

Humility.  That is what they said she needed.  She was told that she hated herself and what she needed was humility.  It made as much sense as all this other Shogun dribble and nonsense.  They forced her into the padawan and apprentice training, just to humiliate her.  She was the most powerful Sith on the planet and was forced to take instruction from idiots who had no idea the true purpose of the force or how to use it.

The days were just a total waste of time. She would move from a meditation room, to a practice yard (where no one even fought) to a library to study, listen to a lecture about how she should mind control the younglings, more meditation. These fools actually thought the force could speak to you and guide you-- as if a sword could guide its wielder. She just did her best to endure to the night. Then it was gambling with the Padawans and bedding her choice of apprentices. Celibate. The though made her laugh.  These young men here were just starved is all, passion could rush out of them like a bursting dam.

It was just a matter of time before it all got out and she would be lectured again. Lectured by some Shogun fool who knows nothing.  So she started taking precautions and wiping the minds of her conquests.  She was sure her teleporting was unnoticed, though she used it sparingly only to go to the caravan for moon sugar. Some of the Padwans absolutely loved it. Too bad they made no money here, it would be a good market.

"Focus Raven.  Your mind wonders you can not hear the whispers."  Master whats his face said.  Raven knew she should let her mind wonder during training, but it was hard to take the master serious after the position he was in last night...to bad he won't remember.  He made a quick soft strike with the practice saber to her left shoulder.  "You're distracted.  Let go of your passion that drives you to be erattic in your thoughts find a calmness that comes through discipline and devotion."

This little pansy had the nerve to lecture her how to fight.  He honestly thought he was giving constructive critisim.  The condesending tone of his voice was enough to set her on fire.  However, she took a measured breath and posed herself.  Block block block.  The master was concentrating hard, she could tell by the look on his face--she remembered from last night.  All passion and no idea what he was doing. "Are you afraid of me?" She asked him.   He responded, "Fear is a choice, and I chose not to fear you.  As I hope you chose not to fear me."  Smug idiot. "You need to adjust your form its sloppy."  That was it, form sloppy. she had been so much nicer to him.

She kicked him square in the chest causing him to lose his balance.  In the same motion used the force to draw his lightsaber from his belt into her hands.  He landed flat on his back as the other shogun closed in afraid of her.  She left loose a concussion wave of force energy knocking them back.  A few held their ground through the blast so Raven funneled the lightsabers PSP into a torrent of Lightning 2 of the shogun blocked it another three rolled on the ground in pain.

As they advanced she did a back flip up over the line of training padawans placing them between her and the shogun. I'll train them.  I'll show them what power is. Then she used telekensis to pick up one of the children and throw it at the approaching master.  The master was so surprised he was struck and spent his energy craddeling the child.  She kicked another apprentice in the neck as he tried to sneak up on her knocking him out.  She then touched his mind and began using him as a reserve of PSP.

They tried to force push her but she redirected it causing the younglings around to take the brunt of it forcing them to fly off in and be smashed into the ground.  "Come show me how superior your philosophy is.  It looks like all weakness to me."   She redirected another force push into a nearby temple wall causing it to buckle.  Two masters held it up while the trainees fled.  She rolled into a group of trees to hide a dropped a hallucination capsule.

Within moments the yard was in total panic.  Shogun young and old were swinging wildly and screaming.  A few of the council members had come in now responding to the chaos and they were calm.  They must have found a way to focus through it.  She jumped down darted across the field and picked up her failed instructor.  Holding his own lightsaber to his throat she called out to the Council members, "Not a step closer or he dies."

They held there ground, "Raven, what is all this anger and aggression, you must chose a higher path.  There is nothing to come of this. Please stand down, let us meditate together."

She could tell the gas was wearing off as the crowd was now paying attention. "You see everyone, all they have now is words.  In your own fortress I bested your whole order, and all they have is words.  Why? simply because I had the will to do what needed to be done.  I am Raven Carmen Esmerelda, not some mere child or puppet."  She kicked the master down and tossed him his lightsaber then walked purposefully and slowly to the council members.  There would indeed be another lecture in her future but as she was walking away she could hear several groups of the students cheering for her.  Maybe this place won't be so bad.
