Hunt

Darkness considered his options carefully. The only significant threat to him have been captured. Nathan would soon be just a hollow puppet of his former self if he was not already. With his fall so too would fall any ability to stop the pure Antilife equation from spreading. His followers would never find him nor could they know exactly what he was planning.

Yet Nathan's followers had cost him a great deal, the werewolves have scattered, the staff piece Desaad had obtained and even Dessad himself. They had the staff piece it was true but they had not the means to evacuate it anywhere with the rest of Nathan's dogs worried only about saving him they would neglect that detail. It was only a minor set back find them and kill them take the staff and he still had all he needed.

He resisted the urge to send Tyros. While that would ensure success that man did not know how to fail, he was needed to make sure Tatyana and Nathan did as Darkness needed them too. That was more important than even the staff. They knew how to protect their dreams, so he would have to be very careful there as well. He hated to even think it but his best option was to send Miriska.

Tatyana spoke so highly of her, but Darkness had only seen what he saw with all Tatyana's favorites. She picked them, thought of them and treated them like dolls. And worse, they behaved as such. Grown, immortal dolls. Full of angst and longing and cascades of emotion which made him sick. She had regenerated since Nathan defeated her and she would have more resources. He did not like it but it would have to be what he did for now. The time was growing near and he had many preparations to make.

He closed his eyes and found her dreams, and dreamed her to where he needed her.

Redeem for your failures Mirishka. Hunt them down and bring me the staff.
