She's a woman to me

She is dangerous. Can't you see what she does to you?" Ganondorf said hoping his brother would hear the love from which he spoke. But he loved her too. Not a real love but some childish infatuation and sexual obsession like she had an enchantment upon him. Could he hear his brother's love through the web she had spun. It was easy to see why his brother was so captivated she was beyond beautiful and captivating. She can kill with a smile, and beauty was one of the virtues.

"Brother, there is something not right about her, She can wound with her eyes, She can ruin your faith with her casual lies, And she only reveals what she wants you to see She hides like a child. While she kills the forest and robs you of the virtues."

The Crimson Prince responded, "What you say maybe true, But she's always a woman to me. She can lead you to love, and isn't that the greatest virtue brother."

"The Selfless love that causes you to serve others, to act for the betterment of all. You may have that for her but she does not for you. She can take you or leave you. She can ask for the truth But she'll never believe you. All she'll do is take what you give her, as long as it's free. Yeah, she steals like a thief. Steals from the people their food even their souls it would seem. Making them like her. Making you like her, selfish and Carnal."

With out response to the academic posterings of his brother's quoted virtue he fell back to the one thing that made it seem right, the reflection of love. "But she's always a woman to me. She isn't like the other maidens, she can takes care of herself She can wait if she wants, She's ahead of her time. Oh--and she never gives out And she never gives in. Her will is strong she's committed."

"Only until She just changes her mind and she has what she wants from you. She'll promise you more Than the Elissian Fields, Then she'll carelessly cut you And laugh while you're bleedin'."

"You don't understand brother. But she'll bring out the best And the worst I can be. Hyrule's problems I Blame it all on yourself Cause she's always a woman to me. You rule the kingdom like I, don't worry about her, Oh--she takes care of herself She can wait if she wants She's ahead of her time. You could learn from her, she never gives out And she never gives in, She just changes her mind. Besides I don't see your issue with her, She is frequently kind. Kindness and compassion are the fruits of the virtue of love."

"And she's suddenly cruel, drinking the blood of nymphs and burning villages because the uglieness of the sick offends her."

It was clear his brother was not going to let this go. And perhaps she was right, beauty was one of the virtues, we had a duty to protect it and find ways to make ourselves more so. That is what she said she was doing when we shared the nymph blood. His will steel now to defend his love and his virtue he raised his chin and declared as the Crimson Prince, "She can do as she pleases She's nobody's fool. And she can't be convicted She's earned her degree and acquittal from me. The matter is closed. I suggest you learn to be loyal to your new Princess we are to be married on mid summers eve."

His heart breaking for his deceived brother. He could not see it. The virtue of loyalty and love together now demanded he take action to defend the kingdom against those who would destroy virtue. The Crimson prince turned to leave, no doubt to retire to the bedroom. The brother spoke, "Before her you had the love of the people, the strength of the virtues, my love and devotion. And the most she will do Is throw shadows at you. None of this is real you are caught in some spell."

Seeming to ignore his bother the Crimson Prince strode to the doorway inlay with relief carving of the sacred long stem tree, placing his hand on the pillared archway he turned his head over his shoulder just enough so his brother could see his lips and slowly and softly made his case, "But she's always a woman to me."
